@aldojoel1981,
Sounds like your mostly on the right track, if rolling the heel in is working for you then keep at it. As you mentioned, just make sure it’s planted before the arms start coming down.

Hi Shawn, It’s Aldo here, the two ways that you show about the lift the left heal or roll, I feel good tith roll i don’t know wy I’m not good lift the left heal. 2) I can Squat with the roll feet because this is something that and the swing you have to think about plnat the left heal before the arms come thruout the ball, becuse this what bring more speed to the arms unit??? help
Just uploaded a new vid for you guys called “golf pro lesson tilted twirl” It will get you deeper into the rabbit hole and closer to wonderland! Shawn
the best teacher!! im turning pro and ive not seen many great teachers..this guy n my dad, good explanation teachers!!no bullshit!!
Hey Guys; the best videos for this are the “Golf Pro lesson tilted spiral” part 1, 2 and 3 and I just uploaded a new one that will help as well called “golf pro lesson take better divots”
Shawn
Frazer20….Looking forward to the videos on this. Getting into the right position consistently is the No 1 priority for me right now, because when I do I pretty well pure it…!
I think I was having problems because I had my feet parallel. I have the flared them out a bit 5 to 1 (on clock) and it seems easier to get tilted without twisting…Look forward to videos though. Great stuff Shawn….
Funny because the first question I was going to ask you in January was about “how much tilt in the braced-tilt setup is required” and how important this tilt is. Sometimes I think I’m overdoing it. Can’t wait for the video.
This is a great video and it reinforces what I have been trying to accomplish. Hoping to try this at the range.
Hey!
to: ashbylad69 I have the same problem as you, I can see the tilt and brace in Shawns videos but I feel as though Im not executing it properly, i.e shifting the hips over to much or creating to much compression on the right side and to much extension on the left / lead side.
A person who has that problem is probably using a set of clubs that have “jacked up” short irons. It is time to invest in some player’s irons.
Will have a couple more videos coming soon and one of them is to help fine tune the tilt some more!
Stay tuned! Shawn
Great video….One thing that I struggle with is consistently getting onto the correct tilted spiral position. Sometime I get twisted and it doesn’t feel right. I started to practice set up in front of the mirror which is helping…
Hi shawn nice video. thank you for sharing.
I got one question for this video.
His hands (club handle) seems did not pass through the ball before releasing (uncocking) the club head into the ball.THis is happening to me too.
Any drill to share in order to perfect the swat through the ball?
Excellent work once again, Shawn!
Very impressive student, and a brilliant full-swing review from you. Thanks for your dedication.
Another Clemshaw believer here! Don’t just watch it – try it!
REMARKABLE!!! This stuff works! I am impressed with Eddie! Shawn, you are the teacher of the past 4 years. Wow.
Do a video on why one might hit a 7 iron 200yds and a 3 iron 220 yds. What might be the lag in distance. Good video as usual.
Bravo Edouard,
I know Edouard, yes you will be the best !
Thank you Shaun for that, thank’s Edouard
A bientot
Brilliant Shawn. That ‘opposing hand forces to prep the release’ tip is something I have never heard before but makes so much sense. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!
thank you for this, im going to try this out at the range later today.
Hi Shawn,
That tip about the knuckle on the right hand is huge. I’ve been missing that with my right hand gripping the club too much in the fingers with minimal knuckle contact. I checked your youtube video on the grip and you do in fact mention that, but don’t emphasize it. I completely missed it. I’m going to the range at RH today to work on that (weather permitting!) Cheers.
It’s really exciting to see people do these kinds of things. I really have to give a hand to Shaun in helping the many golfers that want to improve, improve. I for one can’t afford lessons at the moment, being fresh out of college and in the process of looking for a job. But these videos really helped me improve my game and even this one reminded me of what I was doing wrong again. Thanks for another great video Shaun and Edouard. Mahalo and Aloha from Hawaii.
Hey NHOJ!~
Have a look at my “Golf Pro lesson tilted spiral” part 1, 2 and 3; what is happening is that the “Arm-Club unit” hangs naturally from both shoulder sockets and since the left hand is higher than the right it gives the illusion of the straight line; the hands should never feel like they are placed or manipulated in position; see “golf pro lesson how to feel the short swing” to get the right feel for the short game set up as well;
Edouard says hi!
Really impressive shawn. Congrats.
