It really does depend what kind of ball you actually use. Rather you use and actual “soccer” ball or an actual golf ball.

Ok I don’t do any of that, I self taught myself and I just spin it by hitting down on the ball more by dipping my left shoulder coming down on the ball. It’s that simple..
The funny thing is everytime i watch a video on here about driving or spin shots and shot shapes. Everyone talks about how good they are at doing it. If your spinning balls back 10 feet you wouldnt have searched and watched the video. 3 handicappers dont watch videos of how to spin balls. Tho this video wasnt that good at teaching how to spin and the camera on the green did not show the ball comming back at all.
He talks about hitting down on the ball, but also getting under the ball, to create spin. How can you do both, at the same time. He mentions getting wristy, which I take to mean a loose grip, but I don’t see the connection between wristy and spin. Could anybody explain exactly what he means?
