    As I stated in the video, you must do this drill slooooow at first. I know exactly what you are talking about. One thing that helps and will help you feel how the left(in your case) rolls over the right is to try and keep the shaft parallel to the ground as it releases. If you let the club drop down too far and you swing too fast, you might hurt yourself. What I’m really trying to show here is how if you keep everything intact on the takeaway, you will feel how it is to be on plane.

    I tried this drill and it gave me a good idea about sustaining the lag. but as a reached the bottom of my swing a large amount of pressure was put on my right elbow(I am left handed) almost to the point of pain. I was wondering if this could be due to some sort of tension or swing problem and any advice you have on the issue would be greatly appreciated.
