i have to wear a helmet to play golf!?!?!? that sucks!!!!! part of riding the caddy and driving around is SITTING…..without a helmet!!!!
Who wears a helmet when playing golf???
for the rich ppl out there who are willing, distributing segways is good business, you just have to target the right people.
haha well if youre in a hot country and you need to get somewhere in a suit walking isn’t that easy and you’ll have to leave a whiles earlier if you’re on schedule.
but if you’re in a 50-67 deg.F country walking 4km is no prob .
lol sheer unwalkebleness of the 4 km!
Segways are especially handy when theres traffic, or if you need to get somewhere fast and theres a lot of people traffic , especially in asia as people tend to give way to the segway on sidewalks. Fat people shouldnt really be riding segways, and theres a weight limit of 250 lbs , so anyone heavier than that cant ride them, or it wears the segway out then it eventually burns out its tires.
Well, I suppose that in those classy golf courses where pretty much all the people who play their can easily afford a segway as if it were like buying an ice lolly, riding around with segways there would be ok. People should ride segways for the enjoyment of the ride, or for going distances that aren’t really walkable, lets say 4km and you need to be there within a certain time.
You should get your facts right USD$6,150 is the price of the complete Golf unit. If you need a light on it then there’s not much hope of finding your ball.
The segway is another option to a cart. Two can easily fit in the back of a station wagon with clubs.
As for your walking comment, people that want to walk the course will walk, but there are thousands that are physically unable to walk 18 holes.
The segway has many other uses and if considering a power caddy – check out the Stewart X3R
The Shadow Caddy beats the crap out of this. It’s a golf caddy that follows you with your stuff. It is awesome! My dad works for the guys at SC and the great thing about it is, you can enjoy the walk without having to carry anything! And guess what, they cost $10 AUS to rent for a day! Anyone reading this should look up the Shadow Caddy. Segways are for fat people with heaps of money who can’t be bothered to walk. Honestly, if you see someone on a Segway you think “walking, ever heard of it????”
Apparently a completely unaccessorised one costs US$6,150.00! And if you completely accesorise it, it costs almost US $9,000! Not worth it at all. An LED light addition costs US$600!
where can I put my beer?
how much would one of these cost
