My atari had a built in keyboard on the top of it. What model had a keyboard on it??
wow this is totally rad its always played during the summer with my brothers they are absolutely brilliant at it. I was lucky enough to get it totally free for my ps3 from here – 115 games . com there are literally hundreds best thing about it is they are all free too oh i almost forgot 2:14 to 3:54 was superb
Actually, for the time period, this game was pretty good. You’ve got to remember that just about every game for the Atari 2600 had blocky graphics like this. I wonder if the guys from the “Classic Game Room” were even around during the mid to late 70′s when the Atari 2600 was THE thing to have??
wow this looks like they put no thought into this what so ever. Has thrown out there for a quick buck written all over it.
this is one of those crappy first release games like video pinball, bowling and space war. although, first release games like warlords, video olympics, space invaders, missle command and asteroids were great.
I know that’s supposed to be his hat, now, but I always thought he had a huge nose.

but my first console was in fact a 2600
and I only had like 5 games
and this was one of them
I remember I could never figure out how to shoot

Looks more like a bull whip than a golf club.

I played this game as a kid, once with my mom and we had such screaming fights while playing this game. “No you’re facing the wrong way”! When she heard about WiiSports, she did not to play that game. My mom thought it was going to be a repeat of 2600 Golf, screaming fights & all.
He’s a pro. a normal gamer would take years to complete a single hole!!

An Atari 2600 ina dentist office. Dude, U were a lucky duck!! I HATED this game, we bought it originally in the 1980′s for $8. It was a rip off!!

That was kind of an anti-climactic story at the end there.
about ‘True Swing Golf’ – i wasnt comparing that to the game being reviewed, i havent tried that yet.
i dunno, the level set up with the castle styled green blocks sort of reminds me of some scenes in E.T. for the 2600.
those interested in a truly great golf game, pick up ‘True Swing Golf’ for Nintendo DS…its better than any tiger woods titles that i’ve tried.
there are worse atari games.
