I will be doing another video with the metronome soon; stay tuned! Shawn
Hi, last year I remember reading about using a metrodome for the tempo of putting. I was wondering if you knew anything about this because i did it last winter and it worked really good. But, I forgot how many beats per minute it was and just asking if you would know how many beats per second would be good?
Thanks.
Thanks Darren!
Cheers to you guys out there in Dublin!
Shawn
Doug is the Head Pro which means he is the Head Administrator; he makes sure my Learning Centre runs properly so that I can concentrete on keeping myself and my teaching team on what we do best; and that is Teach Golf!
Our average days are 14 lessons a day so we don’t have time for much else…Shawn
Hey guys, sorry for the late reply; very busy summer! The long putter is not bad, you basically anchor it to the center of the chest and let it hang in front of you; you should be forward enough so that it clears your feet hangind straight down; this is how you will find the length of it. You can either swing that pendulum back and forth with your bottom hand or swing the whole unit together with the chest;

hi shawn thanks for another great tip im changing my game on your tips its slowly paying off thanks again darren from dublin ireland
Hi Shawn have you ever used a long putter? I’m going to try one but can’t find any instructions on the stroke.
Thanks for the tip shawn , it’s another one that works! My Putts seemed to be more controlled
Gotta get me a room like that in my basement one day! Great video as always, Shawn – but with that top you wear I always wonder if you moonlight as a priest!
Thanks Tim! I will!
Shawn
Hi Shawn, the Redwood feels alot heavier than any of the Anser models I’ve used before. Its has a softer feel coming off the face and the milled face helps with a smooth roll. I had mine fitted for me. I’m an orange dot 2.25* flat lie with the putter. Black dot standard with all the other clubs. If you ever try a PING, try a Redwood model. Lorena Ochoa uses Redwood ZB unless she changed this year.
lol. you really do need to come here.
Hey I learned that from Crocodile dundee!LOL
Just don’t say that down here cos it’s quite racist. lol.
I guess we will have to do a “walkabout” when we get there!
Shawn
Nice Huh!?
Shawn
Same one as last year; Scotty Detour…How does that Anser feel? Shawn
you got a slope on that green.
I concur the invite. Would be great to see you here….
But in melbourne. Our courses are way better!!. lol.
Hi Shawn, I think you briefly mentioned looking at the hole in one of your other vids. I tried this and its done wonders for my stroke. Did you get a new flat stick?! I finally got the Redwood Anser I’ve been wanting. Great video and thanks. Tim
Okay! Thanks for the clarification :>)
Dan
I will let all you you tubers know when I come over there…:) Thanks for the comment!
Shawn
man i wish id a putting green like that!
shawn you have gotten me from a 16 handicap down to an 8 handicap. i love you xx hahahaha but seriously i love your videos. you are a legend. if you’re ever in sydney, australia, i’d love to go for a game with you at moore park. cheers.
I like the mental approach to your lessons. Since the greens are still frozen, I’ve tried a few of your lessons pounding the net and feel I’ve become more aware of some bad habits.
Thanks for posting your golf life lessons.
