Thanks for the positive comment. I mainly try to explain things in plain English. Good luck! phil
Agree. But to get the ‘move together’ feel, sometimes you have to explain both sides…. phil

This is an excellent, concise explanation of an aspect of the golf swing (maintaining lag and not push fading in my scenario) to square the face consistantly with body rotation rather than flipping or coming OTT.
Really sound advice on something so fundamental to solid ballstriking. Thanks for the vid.
The best video I have seen on YouTube. And best instruction too. Believe me, I have met quite a few instructors in my lifetime, and Phil ranks as the best. Too bad I am in Quebec and he in Minnesota. I would be regular of his classes. Thanks Phil.
is it true you pull the right arm back first in the back swing or push with the left arm
You can pull if you are swinging with the body then left side dominant ,is the way to go.
You can keep the straight left wrist if you thrust or push w the right arm. Some people feel they get more power this way and consistency. The right hip can also push the the left hip out of the way,you will retain the proper structure. This has all been proven by Homer Kelly.Personally I don’t like to break the body into pieces right and left.Everything should move together as are bodies are made to funtion.
Definitely! Even chipping/sand etc. You’ll feel like you hit the ball with the butt end of the grip. Keep on it!
Oooops, late reply: The rev C usually indicates a push down the target line with the club/arms. If the swing is in plane (from impact to open left shoulder) the spine would be relatively vertical. Just like Hogan! The tilt they’re talking about may be BEFORE impact…
Of all the videos I’ve seen (Leadbetter included) this is the best no bullshit explanation of the golf swing. Well done
Great golf lesson. Thanks.
I’ve been struggling with ball striking consistency and this has really helped. Excellent.
Great video-very Hoganesque. What are your feelings about a backward tilt that many instructors and players recommend, inorder to keep their head behind the ball – A reverse C
is this with all clubs
this is spot on
