Zane Weaver, Age 7, plays the Old Course at St. Andrews for the first time with his father Andy. Lets just call this an early practice round for his 2025 Open Championship Victory. With decent weather in the 60’s and winds that were only about 15 to 20 mph it was a glorious day in Scotland. What is different about Scotlands courses are the tees. On nearly every hole the red tees were just a few yards ahead of the yellow. In lieu of yardage, the course is a par 76 at 6032 from the red tees. It made for some very difficult narrow tee shots just to reach the fairway.

Parakeet plays golf and performs other tricks

An Indian Ringneck Parakeet called AJ has been performing a variety of tricks for the TV cameras from his home in Florida. AJ, who is five inches high, showed off his many skills to the media, which range from basketball to gymnastics and golf. His owner David Cota spent months training the bird to get a-hole-in-one on a miniature putting green. He is also now quite an expert at scoring on a miniature basketball court as well as performing other amazing tricks.
