“Shot Online” ist ein Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG), in dem Spieler vom Amateurgolfer zum Golfprofi aufsteigen und sich den Herausforderungen spannender Turniere stellen. Nach Download des Clients kann der Spieler in die virtuelle Golfwelt abtauchen und sich mit Gleichgesinnten auf dem Platz treffen. Bei “Shot Online” handelt es sich um eine realistische 3D Sportsimulation mit PGA Regeln und Bewegungsabläufen professioneller Golfer. Um den Schwierigkeitsgrad zu erhöhen beeinflussen Faktoren wie Bodenbeschaffenheit, Umgebung, Wind, Wetter, Grad der Ermüdung, Kraft und Genauigkeit die Schlagqualität. Nur mit der richtigen Schlagtechnik, sowie einer gut abgestimmten Ausrüstung, ist der Sieg auch gegen fortgeschrittene Spieler sicher. Für lang anhaltenden Spielspaß sorgen eine Vielzahl an Golfplätzen mit unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsgraden und die RPG basierte Charakterentwicklung. So können Spieler ihre Fähigkeiten durch Training, Quests und Turniere ausbauen und verbessern gleichzeitig aber auch in der 3D Massively Multiplayer Online Welt neue Freundschaften schließen.
